Ordo Octagonis

Building with octagonal layouts is one of the most exciting aspects of Anno 117, thanks to its diagonal roads. The resulting hexagons and octagons approximate circles, making them perfect for massive, organically expanding cities like Cinis. Almost everything is produced and processed locally, leaving surprisingly little room for housing. Cinis currently supports around 73k inhabitants, with only a handful of support islands providing agriculture and livestock. My goal was to place every major monument only once — proving that octagonal city planning truly shines on a massive scale.
