Grandchester

This vast capital is home to 300 k inhabitants. I designed a megablock that functions like a lung; from above, it resembles a fractal. The idea is that needs flow along the main roads, requiring just one turn to reach citizens. Two prestigious academic districts compete: one beside the World Exhibition grounds, the other on the southeastern plateau. The island has no industry, but vast reserves, parks, the Exhibition, a cultural district, a beach and a bathing lake. Lower tiers settled on the mountain, protected by two castles.
